The space

Glendalyn House offers three comfortable bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a queen bed and a private en suite bath with a classic tiled tub surround. Light softly filters into the shower through a frosted privacy window. A second bedroom also includes a queen bed and an adjacent hall bath. The third bedroom offers two twin beds, ideal for children, friends, or travel companions.

At the heart of the home is a designer, high-end kitchen, thoughtfully equipped for cooking and gathering. A gas cooktop, premium appliances, and generous counter space make meal preparation effortless, while the large center island with seating for three is the ideal spot for casual meals and conversation. The adjacent dining area features a round wood table with seating for six, creating a warm, connected atmosphere for shared meals.
The adjoining TV room offers an inviting place to unwind, with a comfortable L-shaped sofa with oversized ottoman and four cozy swivel chairs, which are perfect for movie nights or relaxed conversation. A 60" streaming-enabled television allows you to enjoy all your favorite shows.
Heart pine floors and plantation shutters throughout the home add to the gracious ambiance of Glendalyn House.
The private screened porch just off the kitchen is Glendalyn’s cherished spot. Complete with comfortable porch seating and its own television, it is the ideal setting for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or evening relaxation. On occasion, a friendly neighborhood cat (or two!) may wander by to say hello...a small, sweet part of the neighborhood’s unique charm.
The elevated front stoop of Glendalyn House, with its two welcoming chairs and softly glowing gas lanterns, provides a lovely spot to enjoy the park views, passersby on the tree-lined sidewalks, and the gentle, familiar pace of Converse Heights.

This was a lovely house in a great neighborhood, and everything met our expectations. The kitchen is spacious, recently updated, and was equipped with basics such as oil and spices. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and tidy. The hosts were helpful and friendly, and they really took the time to make us feel welcome in their home. I will definitely look to stay here again the next time we’re in town.

Our stay at Glendalyn House was wonderful! The house has been beautifully updated with incredible attention to detail. We were very comfortable and Laurie was a wonderful host. Me and a few friends came to Spartanburg to celebrate for the weekend. The Glendalyn House was everything that I could ever ask for in a AIRBNB Home! I would highly suggest anyone to come and stay here! Next time, would come and walk around the neighborhood
